Dylan Wray

Dylan has been working in the field of citizenship education for over 20 years, developing international programmes and resources for educators and students. He is the former Executive Director of Shikaya - a South African non-profit that he co-founded to support the role of teachers in creating active, democratic and compassionate global citizens.

He has authored numerous text books, teacher guides and multimedia classroom resources. He has contributed chapters in a number of leading citizenship publications and is the co-author of A School Where I Belong - Creating Transformed and Inclusive South African Schools.

Dylan has worked in partnership with leading citizenship organizations across the globe including UNESCO, APCEIU, ICTJ and Facing History and Ourselves to train and support educators, create and facilitate online learning programmes and develop multimedia teaching and learning resources for the classroom.
