India Soranson Way

India was born in Sydney, Australia, and grew up across five cities in Asia. Experiencing many cultures fuelled her love for learning new languages and was the catalyst for her detailed eating lists for cities around the world (email me for any eating ideas!).

After graduating high school in Hong Kong, India attended Claremont McKenna College where she received a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Chinese Language and Literature. During college, India was awarded a journalism fellowship at the Keck Center of International and Strategic Studies with a concentration in Asian politics. For outstanding writing, she was awarded first place in the Drier Roundtable Op-ed Competition. As a senior, India’s thesis focused on disinformation in the 2022 Philippines election.

Outside of academics, India was a two-time collegiate DII national champion in women's rugby with the Claremont Colleges. India is super excited to start at an organisation that prioritizes social impact and to work alongside diverse teams of people.
